What Choice Do You Have as to the Test Format?

TOEFL comes in two flavours – the internet-based test and the paper-based test. The internet-based test is much more widespread nowadays and is used by 96% of test-takers worldwide. It was introduced in 2005 and since then its popularity has been expanding. TOEFL iBT takes four hours and is divided into four sections (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking), each of them testing for a different kind of language skills. You also may take notes while taking this format of the test. TOEFL iBT scores are based on a scale with a maximum of 120, where each of the four sections are scored from zero to 30. Each speaking question is scored from 0 to 4. TOEFL sections
